This cute ornament has a fun story!
A coworker came to me and wanted a gift for a friend with a meaningful touch! She told me their friend liked cats, was from Alabama, moved to Oregon and enjoyed music. She wanted to capture aspects of all those things in the ornament. I drew a sketch and came up with this ornament! It feels exciting to create a new image for somebody base on the things they love or that inspire them. It also can push me to draw and cut images that don't come naturally to me.
It was a fun process to go through and I got to practice drawing cats!
